Zenoti Integration Setup Guide
Dewy connects to Zenoti to sync guests, appointments, and sales so your nurture sequences, reactivation campaigns, and reporting run on real practice data.
Setup takes about ten minutes and has three parts, all done inside Zenoti by someone with administrator access:
- Add dev@dewy.io as a user
- Add Dewy as an app and share the API key
- Relax the required fields for creating a guest
Step 1: Add dev@dewy.io as a user
Add dev@dewy.io as a user on your corporate (umbrella) Zenoti account, not on a single location. If it is added at the location level, the integration will only see that location's data.
When the user is added, send a quick note through the help bubble in your Dewy account so we know to look for it.
Step 2: Add Dewy as an app
- In Zenoti, open Configuration (bottom left corner)
- Click Integrations, then the Apps tab
- Click Add
- Name the integration Dewy, set the login user type to Employee, and set the app type to Organization
- Click Save
Scope tab
- Open the Scope tab
- Select all permissions in both groups
- Click Save
Credentials tab
- Open the Credentials tab
- Copy the most recent API key
- Send it through the help bubble in your Dewy account. Do not paste it into a regular email.
Step 3: Relax the required fields for creating a guest
Dewy creates new guests in Zenoti with name, email, and phone. If Zenoti requires anything beyond that, guest creation fails and leads will not sync.
- In Zenoti, open Configuration
- Click Guests
- Under Profile, select Guest Profile Rules
- Under Block payment if required fields are missing, deselect every field except Email
- Save
Important: if your account requires any field other than full name, email, and phone number to create a guest, the integration will not work.
What happens next
Once we have the user, the API key, and the guest rules are relaxed, the Dewy team finalizes the connection and starts the initial sync. Depending on how many guests you have, the first full sync can take from a few hours to a couple of days. You will see Zenoti data appear on contact records as it loads.
